| | A GUIDE TO DERMATOLOGY IN PODIATRY |
| |
|
| |
| Welcome | This website represents the second edition of the guidelines in dermatology for podiatry. Its aims remain the same - to offer advice and give some useful guidelines for the management of dermatological conditions that may present in the Podiatry clinic. Dermatology is such a wide subject area it is impossible to cover every topic but it is hoped that this site will act as a useful resource for Podiatrist in practice. The new revision now includes a section on skin assessment which gives hints and tips and reviews the terminology used to describe skin disease. In addition, all the topics have been updated and where appropriate, new developments have been included. A resource section has been included in this new edition. If you have any comments or suggestions about the website please feel free to email us:
Finally, we would like to acknowledge the hard work of the authors of the first edition on which this is based. The authors would like to thank Galderma (UK) Limited for an unrestricted educational grant and the team at Apex Web Works which has made this on-line resource possible. Ivan Bristow, University of Southampton
Richard Turner, Oxford Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford
Maureen O’Donnell, Glasgow
